Range of Costs for Cosmetic Dentistry

Let’s face it – dentistry is expensive.  It all depends on how much your oral health, chewing function, and smile esthetics means to you – over the long term.  Because, basically everything is elective – beyond an extraction from pain and infection.  You are in complete control of you.  With that said, one of our most common questions is, “I want a better smile, but how much will it cost.”  Read on for a general range of dental usual and customary fees in the Birmingham area.

Before we get started, I want to make one point.  These fees are excluding insurance benefits.  There is no need to “shop” around if you have dental insurance because your insurance company is the one who sets their fees.  The only exception is certain procedures where a better result can be obtained from a more “high-end” lab.  For example, a top ceramist can make your restorations more natural looking and life-like, but they are more expensive so a lab fee may be added.  The bottom line is that you always have a choice in your dental treatment.

Another point – with the many different payment options available today, ideal dentistry and your perfect smile can now be easily within your reach with low monthly payments.  It’s a lot like buying a car.  The initial fee may be intimidating, but an incremental payment plan may fit your monthly budget.
